Our Board

We are proud to have on our Board individuals who represent both public and private sectors in the Treasure Coast, Florida—Indian River County, St. Lucie County, Palm Beach County, Martin County, and Okeechobee County.  Their backgrounds include education, science, government, restaurant management, business ownership, college, and nonprofit organizations.  Some are affiliated with organizations that focus on economic development, while others come from primary and secondary education fields.  Each is committed to the promotion of the study of aquaculture, hydroponics, aquaponics, and agriculture.  In addition, they support research projects that advance sustainable farming projects that are environmentally sound.

Rhonda is the St. Lucie County branch manager of Workforce Solutions, a nonprofit organization chartered by the State of Florida to create and manage a workforce development service delivery system.

Helene Caseltine
Helene is the Director of Economic Development for the Indian River
County Chamber of Commerce, the primary agency for economic diversification and economic development on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.

Edwin Dominado, Palm Beach County

Edwin Dominado
Edwin is the owner of two restaurants, an executive vice president of a soft drink distributorship, and the founder/president of the Philippine American Cultural Foundation of South Florida.

Sid Estrada, Okeechobee County

Sid Estrada
Sid is the owner of an Asian import/export business, is affiliated with the nonprofit organization “Martha’s House Shelter”, and is the chairman of the ARC Okeechobee Rehabilitation Facility.

Charles R. “Casey” Lunceford II
VICE CHAIRMAN

Casey is the Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences at Indian River State College in Ft. Pierce, Florida. He administers the Math and Science programs at the college and oversees the laboratory facilities at the five campuses.

Dr. Monahan is the Science Chair at Saint Edward’s School in Vero Beach, a National Board Certified Teacher of Biology, and was recently selected as the 2013 Woman of Distinction for Environmental Leadership.

Jason has held the position of City Manager of Fellsmere since February, 2005, and also serves as Executive Director for the Fellsmere Community Redevelopment Agency.

Bill Paterson, St. Lucie County

Bill Paterson
Bill is a retired law enforcement supervisor, a property investor and manager, a director on the board of a no-kill sanctuary called Dogs and Cats Forever, and a leader in government affairs in the Treasure Coast region.

Ms. Litty is an elected Public Defender for the 19th Judicial Circuit since 1992. Over the past 22 years in office she has spearheaded several innovative programs that service the community.
